James D. Murray

James Dickson Murray FRS, is Professor Emeritus of applied mathematics at University of Washington (also at University of Oxford). Professor Murray's research interests are in mathematical biology, mainly the application of mathematical modelling in medicine, psychology, ecology, epidemiology and developmental biology. He is best known for his authoritative and extensive work entitled Mathematical Biology, recently re-edited.
