Emperor Fei of Jin China (341 or 342-November 23, 386) was an emperor of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (265-420) in China. He was the younger brother (from the same mother) of Emperor Ai and later deposed by military leader Huan Wen .
Timeline
- May 22, 369: Huan Wen began invasion against Former Yan.
- August and September, 369: Forces of Jin reached Fangtou (southwest of modern-day Rui County , Henan Province).
- September and October 369: Relief forces from Former Qin was sent at the request of Former Yan.
- October 369: Troops of Former Yan inflicted loss on the forces of Jin after cutting off supply lines.
- November 4 369: Huan Wen ordered withdrawal in the prospect of facing Former Qin and Former Yan.
- November and December 369: Forces of Former Yan commanded by Murong Chui inflicted heavy losses on the retreating Jin forces.
- December 7 369: Huan Wen retreated safely into territory of Jin. Casualties of Jin in the campaign ranged around 30 thousands.
- July 21 370: Former Qin launched invasion against Former Yan. Wang Meng was appointed commander of the Qin.
- October 15 370: Troops of Former Qin captured Jinyang (modern-day Taiyuan, Shanxi Province).
- Morning - noon, November 27 370: Decisive victory of Former Qin over Former Yan took place at Luchuan (潞川, modern-day Zhuozhang River, Shanxi)
- November 30 370: Ye, capital of Former Yan, was besieged.
- Night of December 11 370: Former Yan surrendered to Former Qin. Murong Wei , ruler of Former Yan, was captured several days later.
- January 6, 372: Huan Wen deposed Emperor Fei and Emperor Jianwen was installed. The dethroned emperor was given the title "Prince of Donghai" in the decree of deposing.
- February 16, 372: The dethroned emperor was given the title Duke of Haixi County (pinyin Haǐxīxiàn Gōng 海西县公)
- May, 372: The duke was placed under supervision after being moved to Wu County.
- December, 372: An abotive coup d'etat of reinstalling the duke resulted in removal of his supervision.
- November 23, 386: The duke passed away in Wu County.
