John L. Kerr

John Leeds Kerr (b. January 15, 1780; d. February 21, 1844) was an American politician. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for the State of Maryland from 1825-1829 and 1831-1833. In 1941, he was appointed to the U.S. Senate seat from Maryland left vacant by the death of John S. Spence, and served in that position until 1843.
