Judge Jules is a well known UK dance music DJ. Born Julius O'Riordan, his stage name originates from the fact that he was originally trained to be a lawyer at the prestigious London School of Economics. His dj-ing roots started on pirate radio station Kiss FM before he joined BBC Radio 1 where he now has a regular Saturday night slot.
He also works as a producer under the name HiGate with Yomanda (Paul Masterson ) and has his own weekly night in Ibiza at Eden called Judgement Sunday.
He is married to Amanda, who is the lead singer of dance act Angelic and has a son.
Judge Jules is responsible for launching many huge trance tunes and acts in the UK through his show and is a pioneer for commercial contemporary dance music.
In 1998, he was voted 3rd in a list of the world's 150 greatest DJs.
