Kachemak Bay

Kachemak Bay is an arm 64 km (40 miles) long of the Cook Inlet on the southwest side of the Kenai Peninsula in south central Alaska. The communities of Homer, Halibut Cove, Seldovia and Kachemak are on Kachemak Bay.

Kachemak means "large cliff by the water" in Yupik.
