Lactid acid bacteria

Lactid acid bacteria (LAB) are nonsporulating Gram-positive bacteria used in the production of yogurt and cheese. This group includes several genera. Among them, we can cite: Lactobacillus, Lactococcus, Leuconostoc and Streptococcus.
