Lakeside Amusement Park

Lakeside Amusement Park is an amusement park in Denver, Colorado. It opened in 1908 under the name White City, and it one of the oldest amusement parts in the nation. The park is located northwest of downtown Denver at 4601 Sheridan Blvd adjacent to Lake Rhoda. As of 2000, the park was family owned [1].

The park's featured rides include:

• The Cyclone, a wooden roller coaster first operational in 1940 [2].
• The Wild Chipmunk, a Wild Mouse roller coaster

Rides around the lake are offered on a coal burning miniature steam train.
