Left Anarchism)
Left Anarchism is a catch all term apparently used mostly by opponents of the political philosophies of anarcho-communism, libertarian socialism, and anarcho-syndicalism, in order to distiguish these from individualist anarchism (those varieties that support private property) and anarcho-capitalism.(See: [1] for evidence of its use mainly by opponents of these philosophies). Likewise, anti-government philosophies that support private property are sometimes called right anarchism.
"Left anarchists" consider the private ownership of property, most noteably the means of production, as being a coercive or exploitative institution. They believe that this arrangement of property can only be upheld by the existence of governmental authority that protects the interests of the capitalist class (those who own and control capital).
