Legal system of Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a common law jurisdiction, with its own court of last resort - the Court of Final Appeal. Laws of the People's Republic of China are not applied in Hong Kong, unless for those stated in the Annex III of the Basic Law, the territory's constitution.
