Lord Brocktree (book)

Lord Brocktree is a book in the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. The book focuses on a badger, Brocktree, and haremaid Dotti as they journey towards Salamandastron, the mountain fortress of badger lords, to protect it from the wildcat Ungatt Trunn . With Brocktree's help, the Long Patrol is able to save the fortress from being overrun by the Blue Hordes. Brocktree then assumes the throne of Lord of Salamandastron.

This is the only book in the series that takes place before the birth of Martin the Warrior.
