Manly Palmer Hall (1901-1990) was a prolific American author and mystic. He wrote over fifty books and a thousand lectures and essays. He is perhaps most famous for his work The Secret Teaching of All Ages: An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy, which he published at the age of twenty five. He has been widely recognized as a leading scholar in the fields of religion, mythology, mysticism, and the occult.
