Martin the Warrior (book)

Martin the Warrior is a book in the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.

Martin the Warrior tells the story of a young mouse named Martin. He is a slave in Marshank under the cruel stoat Badrang. When Badrang punishes him with torture, a young mousemaid Rose and a mole Grumm hear his cries and try to help him. When Martin is imprisoned, Martin meets Rose's brother Brome and a squirrel Felldoh. The three plan to escape from Marshank and then return to defeat Badrang and free the slaves, though Rose is killed.
