Matsudaira Motoyasu
The original adult name of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the third great unifier of Japan and first Tokugawa Shogun. He changed his surname to Matsudaira Ieyasu and finally to Tokugawa Ieyasu, but the Matsudaira continued to exist as a secondary house, and then one of the three branching houses under the Tokugawa shogunate.
