Mitsubishi Electric Corporation

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (三菱電機), based in the Mitsubishi Denki Building in Tokyo, manufactures electric equipment. The Corporation was established on 15 January 1921. One of its products is the SCOPO . The Corporation claims (as cited in "References") to have achieved "the world's first transmission at 10Gbps between relay equipment boards set at a distance of 500mm apart".

It is one of the Mitsubishi Group core companies.
