Monpa language

The Monpa language is spoken in Arunachal Pradesh and Tibet. It belongs to the Tibeto-Burman family, and it is mutually unintelligible to Tibetan, although it shares many similarities with the Bumthang dialect.

The language uses the Tibetan script to represent its words and phonetics.
