National Power Corporation

National Power Corporation, also known as Napocor, is a state owned company that is the largest power provider in the Philippines. It is also the principal power provider for Manila Electric, the only power distributor in the capital that is the metropolitan Manila area. Napocor is also the country's largest corporation in terms of revenue, though profitability is a problem, due to accusations of unlawful accounting practices, though this alleged reason of unprofitabilty is, for the moment, still to be proven. Others argue that unprofitabilty is just due to the economic environment.
