Nell

Nell is a 1994 movie starring Jodie Foster as a young woman raised by her mother in an isolated cabin who has to face other human beings for the first time. The film also stars Liam Neeson, Natasha Richardson, Richard Libertini and Jeremy Davies.

Nell was directed by Michael Apted. It was based on Mark Handley 's play "Idioglossia".

Foster was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for her role.
