Nik Aziz Nik Mat

Tuan Guru Dato' Nik Aziz Nik Mat (born 1931 in Pulau Melaka, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia) is a moderate Malaysian cleric and an opposition politician who has tireless defended human rights in Malaysia and upheld democratic virtues and criticized the government-controlled press that places opposition parties, especially his own PAS into a disadvantaged position.

He is an Ulema, Kelantan’s PAS Commissioner and the current Menteri Besar of the State of Kelantan.
