Nirvana (album)

Nirvana is a "Best Of" album by the defunct rock band Nirvana. It was released on October 29, 2002 by Geffen Records.

The remaining members of the band had intended on releasing a box set, containing all of the unreleased Nirvana material, but there were legal difficulties, when Kurt Cobain's widow Courtney Love tried to get out of the partnership with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, claiming she was under the influence of drugs at the time she signed the contract.

The CD contains the long-anticipated track "You Know You're Right", the last song Nirvana recorded before Cobain's death in 1994.
