Old Market Square

Is a large open square in Nottingham, England. It is the biggest square in Britain and is the heart of the city of Nottingham. Plans are being made to redvelop the square in a project called Square One.

One end of the Square is dominated by the Council House (Nottingham's City Hall); either side of the Council House is a pair of stone lions, which are famed by Nottingham residents as a focal point and meeting place.

Some people refer to the square as "Slab Square"
