Pieter Boddaert

Pieter Boddaert (1730 - 1795 or 1796) was a physician and naturalist.

In 1783 Boddaert published an identification key of Daubenton's Planches enluminees, assigning scientific names to the plates. As many of these were the first scientific names to be proposed they remain in use.
