Powerslave is a studio album by the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released in 1984. It is notable for its Egyptian theme, displayed in the album art, the lyrics, and in the music itself. It contains the song "Rime of the Ancient Mariner", considered to be one of the best heavy metal epics by any band.
