Prabhu

Prabhu is a famous Indian actor. A native of Tamil Nadu he is the son of world-famous actor Dr. Sivaji Ganesan (often transliterated Shivaji Ganesan).

(Prabhu should not be confused with Prabhu Deva , another Tamil actor.)

Career

Prabhu has appeared in over twenty films. After his debut in the film Sangili (1982), he made several hit films during the '80s. He has acted in several types of roles, including comedic roles (Kanni Raasi) and villains.

He received a Best Actor Award in 1991. His film Chinna Thambi broke existing box office records in 1991.

Prabhu runs Sivaji Productions with his elder brother Ramkumar.
