Prince and Princess of Monaco

Prince of Monaco is a title given to certain male members of the royal family of Monaco. It is not to be confused with the ruling Prince's title Sovereign Prince of Monaco, from which the first word is commonly dropped; or with the title of the heir apparent or presumptive to the throne, Hereditary Prince of Monaco.

Princess of Monaco is a title given to certain female members of the royal family of the Principality of Monaco. It is not to be confused with the Sovereign Princess of Monaco (as of 2005, there has not been a ruling princess of Monaco). The current (2005) heir to the throne of Monaco is heir presumptive Princess Caroline of Monaco, or Caroline, Princess of Hanover as she prefers; the Hereditary Princess of Monaco.
