Pulmonary blood vessel

The pulmonary blood vessels are those which carry blood from and to the lungs.

The pulmonary arteries, which carry blood from the heart to the lungs, are the only arteries which carry deoxygenated blood. Conversely, the pulmonary veins, carrying blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart, are the only veins carrying oxygenated blood.
