Reddish

Reddish is an area of Stockport, Greater Manchester in the United Kingdom. Before boundary changes in 1974,the town of Stockport was in part of two counties,Cheshire and Lancashire.The town centre and areas such as Edgeley and Davenport were in Cheshire,while the Four Heatons and Reddish,north of the town centre,were in Lancashire.The amalgamation of these areas into the borough of Stockport,Greater Manchester brought an end to these historical boundaries.
