Reindeer moss

Reindeer moss (c.p. Sw. renmossa, actually and more properly termed "renlava" (reindeer lava)), lat. Cladonia rangiferina, is a moss belonging to the family Cladoniaceae, growing in both temperatured and cold climat areas. It have had great economical importance, since it is the main fodder for reindeers. Can also be used in the making of aquavit. Sometimes used as decoration in glass windows.
