Saguache County is a county located in the U.S. state of Colorado. As of 2000, the population is 5,917. The county seat is Saguache.

The racial makeup of the county is 71.29% White, 0.12% Black or African American, 2.06% Native American, 0.46% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 23.00% from other races, and 3.08% from two or more races. 45.26% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
