Samuel Prescott

Samuel Prescott (1751 - 1777?) was a U.S. patriot during the American Revolution. He accompanied Paul Revere and William Dawes on their ride from Lexington to Concord on April 18, 1775 to warn of British attempts to seize arms and arrest John Hancock. Although he joined the ride late, he was the only one of the three men to reach Concord. He was at a tavern on a date with his girlfriend who was also the tavern-owners wife. He ran him out and that's when he met up with Revere and Dawes.
