San Anton

San Anton Palace, Malta, is a palace built at the time of the Knights as one of the residences for the Grand Master. During the British domination of Malta it was his residence aside from Verdala Palace in Buskett limits of Rabat. Now it is the residence of the President of Malta. Its also famous for its public garden, for the variation of trees and flowers planted there. Also it has a big orchard of citrus trees where it was a custom to the governor to give orange fruit gifts in Christmas. The palace is also surrounded by a private garden.
