Sequence logo

A sequence logo in bioinformatics is a graphical representation of the conservation of a nucleobase in a strand of DNA. Sequence logos are most often used to deduce the locations of DNA binding sites . This is done by comparing the conservation of nitrogenous bases in a consensus sequence to that of all or most known binding sites in the genome of an organism.
