Sequoia

Sequoia is the name of:

• three species of trees in the family Cupressaceae: Coast Redwood, Giant Sequoia, and Dawn Redwood;
• three publically-owned lands in the Sierra Nevadas with Giant Sequoia groves: Sequoia National Park, Sequoia National Forest , and Giant Sequoia National Monument
• several ships, including a Coast Guard vessel, a U.S. presidential yacht, and one or more other such vessels
• An alternate spelling of Sequoyah, creator of the Cherokee alphabet
