Sexual frustration

Sexual frustration is a term has been used to describe the condition in which a person is in a state of agitation, tension or anxiety due to a quantity of sexual activity and/or sexual satisfaction that is less than the person's sex drive.

This can be either because the person's sex drive is normal and their sexual activity level is abnormally low, or because their sexual activity level is normal but their sex drive is abnormally high.

The term has been used to describe both conditions, and makes no distinction, so it is sometimes used to imply that a person has an overactive sex drive, although when used in this way, it is more often to imply the latter case, of abnormally low sexual activity. (it is worth noting that an acusation of abnormally low sexual activity is considered denegrating or even insulting in some cultures, e.g. spinster, frigid, limp-dick, impotent, etc.)
