Shake (cannabis)

Bud Shake

"Shake" often refers to small particles of cannabis broken off from the main "nug." Typically, shake collects at the bottom of plastic bags or baggies due to rough handling, although small amounts of shake collection are usually unavoidable. Many common marijuana users save their shake for use in rolling joints, blunts or spliffs. This is form of shake is sometimes termed bud shake to differentiate it from leaf shake (below).

Leaf Shake

"Shake" usually refers to cannabis leaves -- at least slightly more often than it refers to bud-particles. However, to reduce confusion, it may also be called leaf shake or simply leaf to differentiate it from bud shake.
