Shangri-La Hotel

The Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is a hotel group that is based in Hong Kong and it is the largest Asian-based deluxe hotel group in the region. The group started in 1971 with its first hotel in Singapore, and now has 44 deluxe hotels and resorts located in key cities of Asia and the Middle East. The hotel group also has a sister brand called Traders Hotels which is established in 1989 to cater mostly the business traveler.
