Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani

His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani is the current Heir Apparent of Qatar. He was born on 3 July 1980. He was educated in Shireburn High School, UK in 1997 receiving his High School Certificate. He then went on to Sandhurst Military Academy, UK, graduting in 1998. He has a number of posts including:

• Head of the Qatari National Olympic Committee.
• Member of the International Olympic Committee.
• Head of the Upper Council of the Environment and Natural Sanctuaries.

He has also participated in a number of regional and international conferences and accompanied HH the Emir to a number of official visits to countries.
