Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies

Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies (also Sherman Oaks CES or SOCES) is a public school in the San Fernando Valley. Despite the name, SOCES is located in Reseda on the former campus of Sequoia Middle School.

Students can stay at SOCES from 4th to 12th grade.

For many years, there was a large sequoia log out in front of the school bearing the name of the school. But after repeated vandalism (spray paint, chunks of the log stolen), it was finally replaced with a small stone sign.
