Southern Company

Southern Company is a US electricity corporation. In 1995, Southern bought the British South Western Electricity Board, this being the first purchase, by a US power corporation, of a foreign power corporation.

Southern Company owns the following companies: Alabama Power Georgia Power Gulf Power Mississippi Power Savanna Power Southern Nuclear Southern Linc Southern Company Gas
