Tentaculite

Tentaculites are fossils from the Devonian period, ranging from 360-410 million years ago. They have no official taxonomic classification, but some group them with pteropods. Tentaculites are just under the size of a nickel, with ribbed, cone-shaped shells. Tentaculites range in size from 5 to 20 mm.
