Teresa is a town in the Rizal province of the Philippines. It is situated in the slopes of the Sierra Madre Mountains and is landlocked on four corners by Antipolo City on the north, Angono on the west, General Nakar , Quezon Province, on the east, and Morong , on the south. Most of the people here are Tagalogs. Teresa is primarily known as the 'zigzag town', since its town center is situated in the zigzag road, and virtually the whole town is full of zigzags- from the Sierra Madre Mountains. The town is passed by motorists bounded for the more inland towns of Morong , Baras , Tanay, Pililla , and Laguna and Quezon provinces. Woodcarving is predominant here as a source of livelihood. Owing to the mountainous nature of the town, Teresa is not much geared on agriculture. Vast tracts of unchartered land occurs in the eastward parts of this town.
