Trains (magazine)

Trains is a monthly magazine dedicated to trains and railroading and is the flagship publication of Kalmbach Publishing. The magazine is geared toward railroad enthusiasts, but it is read by many within the railroad industry.

The magazine is based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, has a circulation of about 100,000, and primarily covers the railroad happenings in the United States and Canada and sometimes Mexico. However, there are articles on subjects on railroading around the world on occasion.

The editor as of early 2005 is Jim Wrinn. The magazine features columns and articles from former editor Mark W. Hemphill and International Herald Tribune reporter Don Philips .
