Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle

There were two Treaties of Aix-la-Chapelle.

• The first was in 1668, ending the War of Devolution
• The second was in 1748, ending the War of Austrian Succession.

Although "Aix-la-Chapelle" is the now rarely used French name of the German city of Aachen, the name Treaties of Aachen is rarely used.
