Trini Kwan

Trini Kwan was the original Yellow Ranger on the television show Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

Trini had the following arsenal: Blade Blaster, Power Daggers, Saber-Toothed Tiger Dinozord (later changed to Griffin Thunderzord), and a shared Battle Bike with Zachary Taylor, the Black Ranger. Trini was the morale-booster of the team, and an active environmentalist.

When Thuy Trang, Austin St. John, and Walter Emmanuel Jones wanted more money, their characters were written off the series in the three-part "Power Transfer" episode. Trini went to the Peace Conference, and was never heard from again, having been replaced by Aisha Campbell.

Trini is still featured heavily in Ranger fan fiction.

Thuy Trang, Trini's actress, died on September 3, 2001 in a car accident. It is safe to assume that in some stories, Trini also dies as well.
