Upper Rhine

The Upper Rhine is the part of the Rhine that flows between Basel and Bingen. Rhine-kilometers 170 to 529, measured beginning in Konstanz and ending in Rotterdam "Upper Rhine" means "Haut-Rhin" in French and is also the name of a French département in the Alsace region.
