Slowing down

I have 528 pages on my watch list. I've made almost a thousand edits in the last month. Both are too many; it's taking up too much of my time, and I'm spending way too much time in close contact with people who appear to be doing things deliberately to make me mad.

So I'm slowing down a bit. I plan to pare my watchlist down to less than 200, and spend less than an hour on the 'pedia on any given day. Maybe actually edit an article from time to time.

That sure didn't happen. Now I have 560 pages on my watchlist.

Me

I'm Ben Brockert. I live in Iowa, previously Kossuth, Iowa (near Mediapolis (north of Burlington)), now in Ames. I am occasionally a "returning student" of Computer Engineering at Iowa State University, though usually the proletarian life gets in the way. I am an urban explorer, a photographer, a professional pulse jet researcher, and I'm not good at any of it.

I made my first logged-in edit on April 6 2004, and my 2000th edit on 20 November 2004. I have 2639 edits (435 current revisions, 2203 old revisions) as of 04:24, Dec 23, 2004 (UTC). Editor 780/615 as of 16 December 2004.

On December 15 2004, the fine bureaucrat Cecropia promoted me to administrator (or custodian) per the will of 17 kind users, with no dissenting votes. I nominated myself as a birthday present to myself. That said, I'm a bit new at being an admin; if you see me misuse any of my powers, please call me on it.
