- Heard on NPR this morning: "Terror is an emotion, not a country, and the war on terror would be better fought by an army of psychiatrists."
- Heard on NPR this morning: "The no-fly list is a list of people so dangerous they can't be allowed to fly under any circumstances, yet so innocent they can't be arrested, even under the Patriot Act."
- Special note: edit this page if you see any spelling mistakes, broken links, section mismatches, or other things that just plain don't make sense. Discussions should go on the talk page, though. Be bold—but vandalize only if it's really, really funny. :-)

Contributions
I found Wikipedia on January 13, 2004, though I didn't really jump in until November. On February 6, 2005 Joyous nominated me for adminship, and at 03:42, 14 Feb 2005 User:Cecropia sysopped me. Since then, I've here, and on the Commons.
I've uploaded a few images Commons.
Images
The images I've made myself (in at least some sense) are at /gallery. I've also uploaded some images I didn't make; see for those. I'm on a crusade to increase image resolution whenever possible. I'm also extremely paranoid about lossy image compression. See, for example, .
See /Image tutorial for some technical information about manipulating images.

A while ago I voted to keep a middle school, and joined the Association of Inclusionist Wikipedians . Lately, though, I've been feeling less sure, especially after reading User:Geogre.
One thing I do feel sure about is that an article shouldn't fool the reader into thinking the topic is more notable than it really is. That's the problem with articles on non-notable people. That's why I nominated Homespring , an otherwise charming article about an esoteric programming language.
- "Encyclopedias synthesize and highlight; they tell the reader the importantance or significance of a subject, the most important background, concepts, or events that shaped that importance, and perhaps a few pieces of trivia or a few strange facts and then sends the reader somewhere else for the in-depth treatment. Even if notability is discarded and every verifiable object, fact, or event in the known universe and every fictional universe ever created is included, that only expands the breadth of coverage and does not change the way such objects should be presented, i.e. with an eye towards synthesizing previous research and sources and highlighting the essential facts contained therein." —Indrian, [3].
Fix the ASCII-art graphs in Category:Articles with ASCII art!
Clean up the treatment of hyperbolic geometry! Should have pictures for the disc model and upper half plane model.
Add info to Skyhook (structure)!
Having started Nagata-Smirnov metrization theorem, I should add the proof.
Expand Milnor sphere.
Living in Vail, Colorado, I should expand that entry. Get a history of Vail from the library. Take some pictures from a nearby peak. See Cerritos, California for inspiration on what can be done.
Perhaps The Mind's I could use a cover photo.
I find the list of mathematical proofs interesting. I'll be adding some entries to it when I finally add the topics listed above. Also, there's the list of mathematical topics and Wikipedia:Pages needing attention/Mathematics.
Maybe I could add something useful to line graph.
Maybe I'll add the proof of the marriage theorem.
Sometimes when I'm feeling mindless I'll pick a disambiguation page and disambiguate links to it.
The pages on juggling could use a lot of work.

Maybe eventually I'll write about
- Madder Rose , a band. They published Swim (1993), Panic On (1994), The Love You Save (1995), Tragic Magic (1997), and Hello June Fool (1999)
- The Smalls , a band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (see AMG). They published To Each a Zone (1992), The Smalls (1993), Waste & Tragedy (1995), and My Dear Little Angle (1999)
- Stephen Landsburg , author of The Armchair Economist and the Everyday Economics column on Slate.
The WikiProject Music and WikiProject Albums should be helpful for the music.
If I ever buy Earphoria I'll give it a cover photo.
Shouldn't geographic pages have average elevation and other statistics?
Don't you think that "the universe" should be in lowercase? I read an article some time ago on why "the internet" should be, and it's a similar case.
Bombardier beetles are so cool: they're rocket propelled! Perhaps if I can get to a library I'll try to flesh out the article.
