I was born in Loja, Ecuador. Currently I am living in Germany. I obtained my PhD in Hydrology at the Universität Stuttgart in 2003. I Interested in thousands of things, but mainly I do research or read about:

• Environment: Global warming Land use/cover change .
• GIS and Remote sensing.
• European and Latinamerican history.
• Languages: Spanish, English, German.
• Literature: Borges.
• Philosophy: Sartre, Unamuno.
• Science: Statistics, Numerical Analysis, Hydrology, Operations research, Physics.

Since 9.03.2005 I became a Wikipedian becuase I belive it is a wonderful idea!
