Utah Symphony Orchestra

The Utah Symphony Orchestra is an orchestra located in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was founded in 1940 as the Utah State Symphony Orchestra. Its most prominent conductor was Maurice Abravanel, who built it into a well-respected ensemble and recorded and toured extensively with the orchestra.
