Västervik Municipality

Västervik is a municipality in Kalmar County, in south-eastern Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 1870.6 km². The total population is 37,433; 18,435 are male, and 18,998 are female. The population density of the community is 20 inhabitants per km². It is also a small village located 8 km north of Vaasa, a town on the west coast of Finland.
