VANK

VANK, Voluntary Agency Network of Korea is a non-governmental South Korean organization made up of volunteers. It states that its purpose is to enhance the image of Korea in cyberspace and reinforce Korea's identity as a friendly nation, separate from China and Japan.

VANK is known to webmasters dealing with Korea as protesters. The members send e-mails to websites that contain what they think is "wrong". VANK is concerned with what they see as correct representation of Korea to media world-wide.
